Rental Vehicle Policies

​ Travel in Alaska can be challenging. There are a multitude of reasons that can cause your travel or vehicle rental plans to be disrupted. From airline and ferry mechanical issues and cancellations to high winds and dense fog. The weather in S.E. Alaska can go from sunny skies to a torrential downpour in 20 minutes. In the spring and fall there can be 30 degree temperature swings. Most of the time, your trip will go off without a hitch but due to unforeseen reasons, please consider purchasing trip cancellation insurance.

Cancellation Policy - For 11 and 15 passenger vans, we require 30 days prior notice to the reservation date to cancel without penalty.  All other vehicle sizes require 48 hours prior notice to the reservation date to cancel without penalty. 

Once a car is reserved, it is out of our system and not available for rent so it results in lost income opportunity for us.

Please cancel early and consider trip cancellation insurance to avoid any hard feelings!

For Weekly and month-long discounted rates, Call for Rates.  If for any reason you decide to return the vehicle prior to the pre-arranged date the discounted pricing will be void.  You will also be charged for the remaining days scheduled.  Unless you have made prior arrangements with us in writing, no portion of your rental will be refunded for an early return. We don't "over book" like the other guys.

Rental Deliveries - Please contact us as soon as possible if there is a deviation or cancellation on the day of your rental.

​Once we leave our lot with your rental, a delivery charge is applied.  Delivery prices are pre-set into our pricing for cruise ship rental. Delivery prices are based on your location. 

  • Cruise ship ports - $40.00 drop off and pick up.

  • Airport - $10.00 

  • Ferry Terminal - $15.00 

  • If you are needing a vehicle dropped off at any other location the price will be determined by the our staff based on location.

Most delivery locations have a fee for parking, we cover the initial fee however if you are late getting to your vehicle you will be required to pay the additional fee or ticket.​

Late rental returns - Returning your rental after the set time, you will be charged an additional pick up fee of $40.00.  You can avoid this fee by calling and letting us know.

Fuel - Remember to fill the rental vehicel up.  If we fuel the vehicle up you will be charged $8.00 per gallon.
